The team will own the entire delivery lifecycle from beta releases to production ready, scalable products suitable for new and existing customers. In line with Hootsuite’s distributed workforce strategy, our flexible work arrangement allows for remote work model. This role is open to applicants located in BC & Alberta. • Take ownership of complex projects, ensuring timely delivery, swift escalation of any blockers encountered, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  • Advocate for technical solutions, foster consensus among stakeholders to move projects forward, and represent the team in high-level meetings, ensuring transparency and alignment with project objectives.
  • Facilitate team growth through mentorship, foster a culture of excellence, and pursue personal growth while contributing to the development goals of the team and organization.
  • Identify technical opportunities aligned with team and project goals, proactively mitigate associated risks, and provide strategic insights to optimize roadmap efficiency and achieve significant business impact.
  • Maintain and improve critical pieces of Hootsuite’s front-end components and tooling, including working in JavaScript, TypeScript, React as well some legacy frameworks such as JQuery and Backbone.
  • Maintain and optimize a monorepo and Jenkins build pipeline to support high throughput and continuous development by all frontend teams.
