The Senior Software Developer is responsible for developing, testing, and debugging complex software programs while maintaining comprehensive documentation and adhering to established programming standards. They collaborate with users and the academic community, provide user training, and monitor application performance to ensure effective system operation. Additionally, the role involves preparing status reports, submitting periodic process improvement updates, and offering feedback on policies and training needs to enhance overall effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledgeable in software that the Information Technology Services Office uses
• Specialized training in logic formulation and computer programming specifically in any of the software which the Information Technology Services Office uses for its systems,
• At least four (4) years of programming experience in the same environment Information Technology Services uses for its systems, and with the ability to revise programs developed by other programmers
