Addinsight is an Intelligent Transport System (ITS) software platform helping our customers detect unusual congestion and incidents on roads, monitor roadworks, analyse traffic patterns and improve traffic light coordination. Our platform intelligence driven by field hardware and machine learning is used by every road authority in Australia and several cities in New Zealand to improve the reliability of road transport.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with solid production experience in .NET, TypeScript, React and Amazon Web Services. The position will primarily focus on building our software product for both on-premises and cloud deployment requiring planning, design, development, delivery and product/technical support.

As part of our team you will:

  • Lead and mentor junior engineers
  • Plan, design and deliver product changes and projects
  • Assist customers with support queries
  • Support customer production environments

You will have:

  • Solid experience with .NET
  • Strong Amazon Web Services experience including deploying infrastructure-as-code, pipelines, containers
  • Experience with REST APIs and relational databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React and Angular (or willing to learn)
  • A tertiary qualification in software engineering, computer science or similar
  • A desire for continuous learning
