BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years of related experience with Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of related experience with Master’s degree.
Exceptional verbal and written c ommun ication sk ill s
Detail-oriented and exacting, with a goal of creating the best possible experience for our users
Mastery of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, as well as related tools (dependency management, CSS preprocessors, etc.)
Solid engineering skills and strong CS fundamentals (common data structures, algorithms, performance profiling, etc.)
Solid understanding of the web stack (HTTP, headers, cookies, cross-domain restrictions, asset loading, caching)

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

E xpertise with React
Exemp lary visual design sk ills
Experience in small teams delivering big impact
Significant experience with D3.js
Deep understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL
Experience with search and information retrieval systems like Elasticsearch

RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:

As a senior software engineer , you will work with the develop ment and product team s to advance products and i mplement features that reveal insight from billions of transactional shipping records.
Deliver well documented full stack features prioritizing performance and reusability .
Create meaningful data visualizations that deliver actionable insights in simple, intuitive, and beautiful ways.
Build interactive tools that allow non-technical users to express complex queries .
Model complex data for performant ingestion and querying.
Work with in the broader business to integrate supply chain data and insights in to several product offerings .
