Are you looking for a role that involves designing and steering the implementation of our best-in-class digital training platform? This is your opportunity to take on a role as feature lead, working with a dedicated and highly skilled team!

EXPERIENCED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WITH AN AMBITIOUS AND DYNAMIC MINDSET

Our new colleague has 2-3+ years of experience with software development and holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar is expected, as is experience with test and deployment automation. Nevertheless, we also envisage that you:

  • Have a technology toolbox that includes Java and JavaScript
  • Have experience working in Scrum teams
  • Have experience building and deploying microservices, relational databases, Keycloak and Kubernetes, and Agile development methodologies
  • Are comfortable communicating in English, as it is our corporate language and used daily in conversations with colleagues worldwide

If you, furthermore, have an interest in or competencies within some of these technologies: Angular, Typescript, Spring, Kotlin, PHP and Shell Scripting, it will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing high-quality integrations between existing Defence products and the Learning Management System
  • Implementing new custom-requested functionalities or features that make a real difference
  • Implementing best practices and finding optimum solutions together with the rest of the team
  • Taking an active role in the decision-making for new product features and architecture
  • Writing and implementing code for the new features
  • Troubleshooting, optimising, and solving complex problems in an existing codebase
