What You Will Do:

You will be working on developing a new AEC-focused integration of Redshift into one of the following: Vectorworks, Rhino, SketchUp, or Revit. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Implement scene translation from into Vectorworks/Rhino/Sketchup/Revit to Redshift
  • Integrate the Redshift RenderView and other GUI elements into Vectorworks/Rhino/Sketchup/Revit
  • Design and implement workflows for placing, manipulating and editing Redshift materials and lights in Vectorworks/Rhino/Sketchup/Revit
  • Implement support for browsing of Maxon asset libraries and the placement of these assets in the Vectorworks/Rhino/Sketchup/Revit scene
  • As part of our international development team you will work closely with product managers, UX designers and the QA department
  • You will be expected to write robust, readable and maintainable code as well as participate in the design, performance and code review processes, and to contribute to department’s best practices and guidelines.

What we are looking for:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics. A focus on computer graphics is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience writing plugins for one of the following: Vectorworks, Rhino, SketchUp, or Revit.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in programming with modern C++
  • Bonus points for experience with:
  • Renderer integration into Vectorworks/Rhino/Sketchup/Revit
  • Other DCC apps
  • Qt or other cross-platform UI toolkits
  • Dependable team player with a genuine interest in delivering an excellent product, a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate well in a distributed team
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
