1WorldSync ist der Branchenführer im Bereich Produkt-Content-Management. Mit rund 600 Mitarbeitern in den USA, Brasilien, Kanada, Frankreich, Deutschland, Portugal, der Schweiz und Großbritannien suchen wir einen Software Engineer zur Unterstützung unseres wachsenden globalen Teams.
Du berichtest direkt an unseren Head of Development und wirst einerseits existierende Enterprise-Anwendungen erweitern und pflegen, sowie andererseits neue Funktionalitäten und Produkte mit aufbauen.

Als Software Engineer bei 1WorldSync hast du unter anderem folgende Aufgaben:

• Frontend-Entwicklung von webbasierten Lösungen
• Backend-Entwicklung auf Basis von Java und Java EE
• Entwicklung von Softwarekomponenten in Java auf einer Microservices-Architektur in einem
• schnelllebigen und internationalen Arbeitsumfeld
• Einsatz von modernen Webframeworks wie beispielsweise JavaScript und CSS
• Orientierung an den gängigen Web-Standards

  Reporting directly to our Head of Development, you will maintain and expand existing enterprise-grade applications, as well as build entirely new functionalities and products.

As Software Engineer at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:

• Front-end development of web-based solutions
• Backend development based on Java and Java EE
• Development of software components in Java on a microservices architecture in a
• fast-paced and international working environment
• Use of modern web frameworks such as JavaScript and CSS
• Orientation towards common web standards

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• You have a degree or training in the field of (business) informatics, mathematics or a comparable qualification
• You have professional experience in the field of agile software development
• You are characterized by your confident and efficient handling in the field of Java development
• You have a sound knowledge of Linux and experience with cloud technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform)
• You have a great passion for programming Java code for microservices solutions and for new technologies
• You always strive for a high degree of automation
• You enjoy automated quality assurance and TDD

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge of Angular, Bootstrap, Less, Sass is desirable, but not mandatory
• Bootstrap, Less, Sass, JSF, Primefaces, REST/HATEOAS, PostgreSQL, Git, Maven, CI/CD with Jenkins, JMS, Groovy
