Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, code and unit test Apacheta cloud software.
  • Interface directly with other software developers, project leaders and managers, industry colleagues and client personnel.
  • Design, develop and test web application and integration solutions using J2EE technology.
  • Code/unit test web-enabled technology using expertise in server-side Java technologies, internet standards and protocols.
  • Architect and design functional components.
  • Architect and evolve Apacheta Java based cloud platform including web application, services/API tier, and data access tier.
  • Participate in solutions workshops with customers to define business requirements, work with project managers to produce design documents and functional specification.
  • Deliver proof of concept/pilot to demonstrate Apacheta applications. Implement custom integration with customer’s enterprise system.
  • Participate in production deployment process.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive software engineering experience in J2EE technologies.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:

  • 5 years of experience with Enterprise Web Application development using Spring and Hibernate;
  • 2 years of experience developing REST API;
  • 2 years of experience creating design or architecture of enterprise applications, architecting application components and evolving architecture including UI, API/Services, Data Access, Integration, and Application components (to include logging, exception handling, security, communication, and caching);
  • 2 years of experience creating web UIs using Angular JS or Wicket;
  • 2 years of experience with enterprise software integration;
  • Supporting Waterfall or Agile SDLC (Software Design Life Cycle) and artifacts to include story review and estimation, deployment planning and support;
  • J2EE experience to include: Spring Framework, Hibernate, Wicket Framework or component-based application development framework, Jersey, JSP, Tomcat, Xml, Java Script, Html, Jasper Report, web services, jQuery, CSS, bootstrap, Angular JS, and Spring Boot;
  • Architecture experience to include: sequence, class, and component UML diagrams, solution design, hardware design, security design, and performance improvement and monitoring design;
  • Working with MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL databases;
  • Setting up and running Java based application on Linux or Unix operating system;
  • Programming in Java; and
  • Utilizing Eclipse, Maven, ANT, Subversion, Jenkins, and Git development tools.

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.

  • Base Pay Range for this position: $142,002 - $185,000 per year.
