The fulfilment team builds integrations into external e-commerce systems, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Shopware, Squarespace, etc. hereby connecting our production facilities in both EU and North America with users wanting to sell print on demand merchandise. We make sure that users can create products with their own designs and synchronise these from our system to the external e-commerce systems to sell to their own customers and additionally are also responsible to process any incoming orders from those systems into our backend. We are responsible for a variety of diverse components striving to strengthen Spread Group’s fulfillment business. Develop new and existing software solutions together with other Software Engineers, Designers, Product Owner and Scrum Master and integrate them into our system landscape.
As we continue to expand our horizons, we are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our dynamic team as the Senior Software Engineer Backend (f/m/d) and drive innovation forward. The role is full-time and offers the flexibility to work on-site at our Leipzig headquarters or remotely within Germany.

• You are proficient in developing Java services based on Spring Boot.
• You ideally have experience with Kafka and ElasticSearch.
• You are familiar with distributed systems and their challenges.
• You can take the lead in planning software architectures and long-term roadmaps.
• You stay up to date with the latest developments in the software industry.
