Description:
ABOUT YOU
We’re considering applicants with a range of skills and backgrounds. Some of the things we are looking for include:
- 4-6 years of front and back-end experience with Typescript
- Experience with one or more common Javascript frameworks (we use React and Fastify)
- A passion for learning: perhaps AI/ML, perhaps API design, perhaps advanced type system patterns
- Familiarity with infrastructure and DevOps tooling such as Terraform, Kubernetes and AWS services
- Some experience in line management, including performance reviews, mentoring, and team development
- Confidence in independent problem solving and guiding others through technical challenges
We value people who are self-directed, can independently manage their time, and take pride in delivering high-quality work. Experience of telecoms is not necessary, and we’re not precious about technology stack - we care more about your ability to learn than your specific current knowledge.
ABOUT US
We’re a fully distributed team, though we meet regularly in person when circumstances allow for it. We’ll choose locations that are easy to get to for all members, likely in London. We keep in close contact on video and rely on each other every day. We offer generous compensation, holiday allowance, pension and equity. We’re flexible with work and family always comes first.
As an early stage startup, our problems are hugely varied, and we aim to support continuous learning in any area that might be of interest to you. We support the professional development of our team in whatever ways work best. We follow agile development practices, with all the ceremonies you’ll be familiar with, and you’ll be working daily on problems with immediate application and impact for our clients.
This is an exciting and pivotal time for our company, and our vision is hugely ambitious. It’s an ideal time to join our team and help build a unique, market defining platform.
How To Apply:

Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a senior developer to join our in-house software team. You’ll be working across the stack to build out our application, whilst also helping other engineers to thrive in their roles. We need a team-player, but we’re also still in startup mode, so you’ll need to be self-directed.
In return, you’ll have the opportunity to help network operators reduce their impact on the environment, remove their reliance on diesel, and make their networks sustainable. Working alongside experts in software, QA, DevOps and data science, you will develop skills across a broad mix of technologies; gain experience of handling huge volumes of data and learn to rapidly iterate in a high-performance software team.
Some examples of projects you might have the opportunity to tackle:
- Designing and building APIs which expose our unique analytics
- Incorporating extreme weather and storm predictions into our platform
- Integrating with client systems, both legacy and modern
- Nurturing your team by building relationships with psychological safety
- Providing guidance to junior team members to accelerate their career development
