WHO WERE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated full-time Senior Software Engineerto join our team at our location in Carmel, IN.We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce!
The Senior Software Engineers duties and responsibilities include:
- Developing, deploying, and maintaining software applications
- Architecting solutions for scalable, secure software applications
- Deployment of CI/CD pipelines for web applications and APIs
- Designing and developing microservices using various APIs
- Assisting with managing the functionality of HarperRands CRM system
- Developing new reports for the HarperRand team
- Participating in sprint ceremonies and code reviews
- Mentoring and working collaboratively with other members of the development team
- Assisting in planning and managing upcoming sprint work
- Performing other responsibilities and projects as directed by the Chief Technology Officer
THE SKILLS YOU NEED:
- 2+ years of experience building Django applications
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working with relational databases
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and Agile programming methodology
- Strong attention to detail, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and works well with limited supervision
