We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and distributed systems, with a passion for driving performance improvements and ensuring software reliability. The ideal candidate will have experience working in remote environments and collaborating across cross-al teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Application Software: Build and maintain applications using Node.js frameworks such as Hapi.js or Fastify. Familiarity with Golang is a plus.
  • API-Driven Cloud-Native Architecture: Work on distributed system applications running on Kubernetes, AWS, and .
  • Performance Experimentation: Design and execute performance experiments to validate improvements in key metrics like requests per second (RPS), latency, query performance, CPU/memory utilization, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-al teams to ensure performance improvements without sacrificing reliability or security.
  • APM Tools: Use Datadog APM, Splunk, Honeycomb, New Relic, or Dynatrace to monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Database Familiarity: Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB to optimize database performance.
  • Remote Work Environment: Demonstrate strong self-motivation and a passion for investigation and experimentation in a remote setting.

Required Skills:

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
