Description:

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript (mandatory) and related modern frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and SDKs used in the Unloan ecosystem.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, troubleshooting, and debugging.

DESIRED SKILLS

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Unloan is a forward-thinking team that leverages cutting-edge technology to revolutionize the lending industry. Our tech stack is built on a cloud-native Dynamics and Azure platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. We are looking for a talented Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join our Platform team and help us continue to improve dev team CI experience, software tests, innovate and deliver exceptional cloud/application architect solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Focus Areas for Platform Team:

  • Improving CI/CD Experience: Enhance the continuous integration and deployment processes for developers, ensuring smooth dev experience and workflows.
  • Updating Project Libraries and SDKs: Maintain up-to-date versions of libraries, SDKs, and dependencies to ensure compatibility and performance.
  • Code Quality and Best Practices: Enforce best practices in coding, testing, and automation to maintain high standards, identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Improve application and database query monitoring to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
  • Integration Development: Work on coding integrations with various tools or systems.
  • Troubleshooting Expertise: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills for debugging web services and system-level issues.
  • Innovation: Propose new ideas and execute end-to-end software proof-of-concepts (POCs).

For candidates at the staff level, additional responsibilities include:

  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Expertise in diagnosing issues across IT systems.
  • Architectural Leadership: Drive improvements in software architecture design and lead refactoring efforts.
  • DevOps/QA Experience: Ideally possess mid-level experience in DevOps or QA practices, contributing to end-to-end development pipelines.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Have experience of taking full ownership of commercial-level applications, from design to implementation, monitoring, and maintenance.
