Job Description
Location: Hybrid, London office presence required
We’re hiring for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Foundations (Developer Experience) Team. This hybrid Senior Software Engineer role offers flexibility to work where it’s most effective, whether at home or in our London, Shepherds Bush office. We value in-person collaboration, so we ask team members to come into the office 1 day per week when possible, for cross-team interaction and all-hands meetings.
At Gousto Tech, one of our key focuses is boosting productivity across our tech organisation. Because of this, it’s a great time to join our Foundations tribe, whose core mission is to enhance the productivity and efficiency of our software engineers.
Through collaboration between product teams, principal engineers, and the Developer Experience team, this team is dedicated to enhancing developer experience by applying Team Topologies Platform as a service, Collaboration and Facilitation engagement modes.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in improving developer productivity and satisfaction, specifically in backend technologies. You’ll be enhancing or building new tools to address engineers’ biggest pain points, tackling complex technical challenges within our platform to empower engineers across the business, or owning parts of our technology estate that support product engineers in focusing on business value.
