Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack, Business Systems)

We are looking to add highly motivated skilled engineers to our team to help us scale and take our proven system to new heights.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer joining WHOOP’s Business Systems team, you will work directly on our ecommerce and business systems platform, developing features that will drive order flows from each part of our business internally and externally. We make data-driven decisions since any change we make can impact our revenue directly. You will leverage your experience in both web technologies and backend API design.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Development experience in JavaScript, HTML & CSS
• Experience with React and Next.js
• Experience with headless content management systems
• Experience with experimentation, data-driven development, and rapid iteration
• Preferred experience building in the e-commerce domain
• Experience with REST APIs & relational databases
• Positive attitude and ownership mentality
• Strong communication skills to work both collaboratively and independently

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help execute WHOOP’s vision to build/scale our business logistics world wide.
• Contribute to full stack development: JavaScript, Java, AWS and Postgres
• Interface with critical business systems: Netsuite, Salesforce, Stripe, Boomi, and more.
• Work collaboratively in a high growth environment with a product minded approach
• Consistently deliver features and code with an iterative approach
• Coach and up-level engineers in your team and neighboring teams through direct and indirect mentorship

THIS ROLE IS BASED IN THE WHOOP OFFICE LOCATED IN BOSTON, MA. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE PREPARED TO RELOCATE IF NECESSARY TO WORK OUT OF THE BOSTON, MA OFFICE.
