The IT Supply Chain Oracle System Engineer group has an opening for highly motivated system engineers to support Electric Boat’s customization of our ERP application suite. ERP is the vehicle for integrating people, processes and technologies across a digital supply chain ecosystem. These applications will reduce program cost and prepare the company to face the challenges and opportunities of a modernized digital enterprise.
Our team members must have strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences. You will grow your skills, work with the cutting edge technologies and introduce new tools and techniques to the team.

• Partner with business stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver enhancements and bug fixes to the Oracle ERP system
• Manages their backlog of development requests, defining requirements and solutions that fit stakeholder needs and optimize the Oracle ERP System
• Learns and refers to business processes within their assigned functional area to support design of functional system and testing
• Supports production support team, manages and resolves any production support tickets escalated to the System Engineer team
• Provides functional expertise to translate business problems into functional requirements and design
• Owns and maintains functional design documentation for modules and interfaces
• Supports testing readiness for within different test environments and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure environment readiness
• Collaborates, teaches, and learns from other system engineers to improve individual and team analysis and design quality
