Senior Software Engineer (gn) - Customer Applications & 3D Visualization

YOUR MISSION

For our newly formed cross-functional team, we are looking for a versatile Software Engineer to take on complex projects in industrial automation. The team works on projects that push the boundaries of both our product and the industry. You’ll be building robotics solutions in close collaboration with clients and other teams at Wandelbots, always working on the cutting edge of innovation. The challenges you’ll face will be dynamic, requiring you to embrace the unexpected and adapt quickly. Your daily work will focus on building interactive and intuitive 3D visualizations using React Three Fiber (ThreeJS) and React (TypeScript), integrated with the tools and DSL (similar to Python) that we’ve developed in-house.

• Innovate robotic Applications: Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions, focusing on Kubernetes based deployments.
• Develop 3D Visualizations: Utilize React Three Fiber (ThreeJS) for real-time 3D rendering, creating intuitive interfaces that enable seamless human-robot interaction.
• Customer-Centric Solutions: Work directly with clients to deliver tailored, user-focused software solutions in robotics.
• Agile Software Development: Be involved in all stages of the software lifecycle, from design to deployment, with a hacker’s mindset for rapid iteration and improvement.
• Dynamic Problem Solving: Take ownership of challenging and dynamic projects, applying creative thinking to overcome technical obstacles and deliver impactful results.
• Collaboration Across Teams: Partner with backend developers, product managers, and designers to ensure the final product meets customer needs and provides an excellent user experience.
