About our Team
Our team will be working on GIS products and bring them to life, you be working alongside SRE’s and Software Engineers.
About the Role
As a Java Software Engineer you will be involved in the entire SSDLC of our Geospatial Risk Assessment Solution, participating on the design, estimation, implementation and review of feature and test code as well as guiding and mentoring more junior members of the team.
Responsibilities
- Interfacing with other Technical Personnel or team members to finalize requirements
- Writing and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
- Working closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
- Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
- Completing Bug Fixes.
- Resolving technical issues as necessary.
Requirements
- Possess experience with data manipulation languages (Elasticsearch, SQL) Able to code in development languages Java and Springboot.
- Able to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
- Able to work with complex data models.
- Possess experience working on AWS or Azure cloud platform and knowledge of EKS, Kubernetes.
