Senior Software Engineer In Test (Vercara, LLC, Herndon, VA)
Multiple positions available. Create valuable frameworks to run automated tests. Develop enhancements for automated tests designed for integration or end-to-end automation. Analyze testing requirements to design and improve the framework to meet business requirements. Engage with Development and Test Teams to analyze requirements and deliver frameworks that provide valuable automation related artifacts. Identify regression bugs to the Development and Test Teams for further review and action. Work Collaborate with external vendors to analyze expected behavior and communicate issues externally. 100% telecommute position located anywhere in U.S. Salary: $112,000 - $163,000 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign education equivalent (including a three-year degree) in Computer Applications, Engineering, Mathematics, Electronics, or Computer Information Systems, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Software QA Analyst or related occupation using test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Robot Test Framework.
Must also have the following special skills: Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Robot Test Framework; Demonstrated experience using CI tools such as gitlab pipelines or Jenkins; Demonstrated experience using UNIX or Linux to execute shell scripts or access remote servers; Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other public cloud infrastructures for application or service deployments and log analysis; Demonstrated experience with using version control tools such as git or github; Demonstrated experience working with docker or other container orchestration systems
