QUALIFICATIONS

• Min. 3+ years of experience working at strong engineering companies or demonstrated proof of exceptional ability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in programming and eagerness to ship clean, fast code. Ability to drive good software dev practices across the tech team.
• Experience working in cloud environments (GCP) and microservices architectures.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems at the intersection of software, AI, and biology.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own software tools, platforms, and infrastructure. We expect you have significant experience building modern software, good development practices and an eye for smooth UX.
Your role will involve close collaboration our science team. You will be responsible for developing analysis tools, manage complex data infra, and rapid prototyping of software that currently does not exist on the market.
This role is open to Remote employees working in Europe (CET)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop scalable software tools and infrastructure.
• Build elegant and high-performing web apps, with the help of our designers and ML engineers.
• Help optimize cloud pipelines and data infra, primarily in Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers. Present and own your work and help push a culture of rapid shipping and iteration.
• Drive innovation in tools development to enhance company performance, scalability, and productivity. Invent solutions to hard problems!
