MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP preferred)
  • Experience with BigQuery and relational databases (SQL)
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern software development practices
  • Experience with security frameworks for user and service authorization/authentication
  • Ability to design and execute unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests
  • Strong debugging skills and experience in root cause analysis
  • Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Responsibilities:

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Sr. Software Engineer will support our store and online systems for our loyalty and Pro customers. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production applications. In addition, Sr. Software Engineers may be involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring as well as mentoring less experienced engineers.
