YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Several years of hands-on experience with Java and frontend technologies such as Angular.
  • Proficiency with testing frameworks like JUnit, Jest, and Cucumber BDD.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with build and automation tools like OpenShift, Docker, Gradle, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Agile mindset with strong self-organization and communication skills, including a willingness to engage in pair/mob programming.
  • Ability to foster a culture of feedback, embrace failure as a learning opportunity, and strive for personal and team growth in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join our agile and international team. In this role, you will be developing our core platform SALOG who supports Air and Sea Forwarding all over the world. You will be joining a global team of engineers and analysts and build products to provide innovative solutions to delight your stakeholders. We want you to help take us to the next level!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, and delivery of applications in collaboration with stakeholders and users.
  • Write clean, maintainable code.
  • Ensure quality through automated testing and code reviews.
  • Maintain and enhance the long-term quality and sustainability of the software.
  • Stay current with the latest technologies and integrate them into the software.
  • Continuously improve processes and tools.
  • Mentor and support new and junior colleagues in developing their skills.
