The Purview Data Governance team’s mission is to deliver a market leading solution for enterprise data management, discovery, understanding, and access. The customer personas served by Purview Data Governance include the enterprise data office, enterprise-wide data owners and data stewards, and enterprise-wide data consumers across all organizational functions. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Senior Software Engineer (full-stack web UX+API) to join us in our mission of creating a cutting-edge cloud service and AI (Artificial Intelligence) based enterprise data governance solution and best practices for our customers. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in single page web app UX development in TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX/REST API/JSON handling.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

PREFERRED/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• Applied experience in the best practices of federated data governance in a global enterprise.
• Broad understanding of enterprise architectural considerations pertinent to federated solutions.
• Applied experience in building and operating federated enterprise data management solutions.
• Applied experience in architecting and implementing clean solutions for complex integrations.
• Experience in building and shipping production-grade, large-scale, fault-tolerant cloud services and distributed systems.
• Experience in building AI/Copilot experiences in enterprise/commercial software.
• Experience in full-stack development and testing.
• Experience in navigating enterprise change management.
  Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
