We’re looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented Senior Software Developer to join our public website team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing brand new user-facing features for RiaMoneyTransfer.com and ensuring our website remains fast, responsive, and accessible to all.
Our platform leverages the React framework, deployed on Netlify, and is powered by Prismic as a headless CMS, utilizing the latest open-source frameworks and technologies. You will work closely with designers, product and stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and appealing user-centric experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of money transfer.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the development, testing, and deployment of riamoneytransfer.com’s public web site;
  • Build and optimize reusable components and front-end libraries using React.js;
  • Deploy applications on Netlify or similar platforms, ensuring robust performance and scalability;
  • Integrate and manage Prismic or other headless CMS platforms, including content modelling;
  • Support multi-language content and regional requirements by working with localization and internationalization (i18n) practices;
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement design into the code;
  • Optimize components for performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers;
  • Integrate with back-end services and ensure front-end compatibility;
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning to deployment;
  • Participate in peer code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality;

REQUIREMENTS

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in React.js and experience building reusable components and front-end libraries;
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling;
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility;
  • Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, with a strong understanding of responsive design principles;
  • Experience with version control tools and CI/CD tools (such as GitLab);
  • Understanding of best practices for SEO and web performance optimization;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to write clean, maintainable code;

The range in Santiago for this position is $3,000,000 - $4,100,000 CLP per month, after taxes. Actual starting compensation may vary based upon work experience, and skills
