Description:

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Python)
Location: Remote- Core working hours 9- 1 pm. PST/ 12- 4 pm. EST

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience with Python and Django web frameworks
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
  • Working knowledge of AWS with services like EC2, VPC, S3, CloudWatch
  • Proficiency with Git version control system
  • Understanding of web development security best practices
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and ORM frameworks
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST API services using Python, Django, and other Python frameworks
  • Integrate backend systems with our front-end apps and mobile applications
  • Optimize APIs for performance and scalability
  • Implement automation and DevOps processes using AWS services like EC2, S3, CloudFormation
  • Monitor and troubleshoot problems with AWS tools like CloudWatch
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and product planning
  • Identify production issues and compile defect reports to prioritize work
