SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Redan LLC is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be part of a growing team in the federal sector.
As the Senior Software Engineer, you will support the Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) under the EED-3 contract. You will work in a fast-paced Agile development environment, focusing on the operations, design, and development of tools like the Common Metadata Repository (CMR) and Earthdata Search Client (EDSC). Your work will involve leading the deployment of product updates, identifying and resolving production issues, and constructing scalable architecture that enables scientists and students to access and improve the quality of earth science data.
Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels and be adaptive to the organization’s changing needs. The right candidate must be able to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals and demonstrate excellent time management while working in an agile environment, providing technical knowledge and development to the team throughout all agile ceremonies.
