Description:

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

REV Capital is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team! The Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions while ensuring compliance with Company practices and procedures. The Senior Software Engineer will identify, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues and defects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of practical full stack software engineering experience
  • Excellent knowledge of software development best practices
  • Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL, React Native, Node.js, Typescript, Angular 9+, jQuery, and Linux
  • Strong grasp of Azure and cloud computing
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt quickly and complete tasks within given deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high- quality software design and architecture analyze, design, and implement software solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards that are scalable.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Optimize performance and scalability of applications, focusing on improving speed, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to learn and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends in software development.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests and projects as needed.
