We are looking for someone with industry experience of software engineering (preferably in C# and .NET) as a member of a team.

Responsibilities:

Our evolving roadmap is full of ambitious and exciting delivery milestones across the full range of our products and services.
We are a (small a) agile team, so you can expect to see the impact of your work very quickly. Our teams are made up of 3 to 6 Engineers, a UX Designer, Product Manager, and generally one or two QA Engineers. You’ll also work closely with business stakeholders on each project, and customer success to ensure delivery of our platform is well supported.

We use:

  • C# – latest stable version of .NET
  • React, TypeScript, Webpack
  • SQL Server 2019+ hosted in Azure
  • GitHub
  • Azure AI Studio for GPT API access
  • Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy
  • SaaS by default (e.g., Shortcut, Octopus Cloud, Freshdesk)

You are expected to be expert at independently or jointly tackling a wide range of issues with maintainable, tested code: e.g. breaks down larger issues, refactors to make new code fit cleanly in the architecture, makes pragmatic decisions thinking about the wider system, creates and implements code appropriate maintenance/improvement tasks.
We want you to dive in, get your hands dirty, and figure things out, but also to be someone your team can rely on for help and guidance when they need it.
Our Tech Team works within a learning and collaborative environment, where empowerment is key to our success, along with developing a culture of innovation and creating an environment where everyone can excel. Our development teams have a lot of autonomy in how to work day-to-day, with support from other roles as needed.
