In your role, you will contribute to the product success by developing backend services, ensuring scalability and performance of visualization systems, and driving innovation and quality in all aspects of the service.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of our agile team, ensuring the efficiency and quality of Porsche’s 3D visualization infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Establish best practices and development patterns for the Porsche Rendering Service, Picture Generator, and Picture Service.
• Provide technical mentorship to the team.
• Develop the technical vision and roadmap for the Porsche Rendering Service.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in backend services and infrastructure.
• Manage technical debt and existing project dependencies.
• Evaluate transitions for better service quality and usage of managed services.
• Connect with other teams to enable integration of the visualization into other products.
