Location: London + *Hybrid

WHO YOU ARE
- You will have proficient, with commercial experience in JavaScript (ES6+) and React, with a focus on high-performance, modular
- You will have experience with RESTful APIs and JSON, enabling efficient data exchange and integration.
- You will preferably have experience with testing tools (Jest, Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, fast deployments.
- You will be have knowledge around AWS infrastructure, configuring cloud services for scalable and reliable applications

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Vodafone, your main responsibility is to develop and maintain high-quality, performant front-end web applications, ensuring they’re operational and meet high standards. In this role, you’ll shape our development approach and provide technical guidance on complex projects, holding yourself accountable for reliable, robust solutions.
- You will serve as the engineering lead for a squad, ensuring a high-performing team that consistently delivers high-impact, high-quality work. Focus on key team metrics to measure and drive improvements.
- You will endeavour to grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values.
- You will be an active part of the engineering community team and collaborate with other technical leads
- You will regularly be proposing and quantifying the importance of technical debt to senior management.
- You will ensure solutions meet and exceed customer expectations & take ownership of services in production by leveraging analytics, synthetic monitoring, and alerting systems.
- You will prioritise time to market by maximising the immediate team’s potential with a full-stack mindset.
