Responsibilities:
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Design and develop applications and systems. Perform business analysis and software analysis. May coordinate projects and perform system maintenance activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Application Software Development 7: Develop existing and new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement. Develop new applications to meet customer requirements.
- Applications Software Maintenance 7: Monitor, identify, and correct the most-complex software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software.
- Design and Conceptualization 7: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize products and services, leveraging data to drive original design ideas and decisions.
- Websites/Portals Maintenance and Update 6: Design and oversee the functionality, usability, and accessibility of business-critical portals/websites using content creation and management tools as well as digital media to ensure that technical continuity is maintained and development standards are met.
- Technical Developments Recommendation 6: Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/applications software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users� needs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Experimentation Engineer to join our Release Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining experimentation and feature flagging frameworks to facilitate continuous delivery and efficient testing of new features. This role requires a mix of software engineering, DevOps, and experimentation knowledge to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of feature flags and experiments across our platforms.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust experimentation and feature flagging infrastructure, enabling the team to test new features quickly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and QA teams to design and execute experiments (A/B tests, canary releases, blue/green deployments).
- Integrate feature flags and experimentation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Monitor experiments and feature flag metrics, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to experimentation tools, feature flagging, and deployment pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for experimentation and feature flagging, including data privacy, security, and consistency.
- Contribute to the development of automation tools to streamline the deployment and monitoring of experiments and feature flags.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in experimentation, feature flagging, and release engineering, bringing new ideas to the team.
