Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years hands-on SQL Server experience (Creating Database objects, stored procedures, tables, etc..)
  • 2+ years of Selenium or equivalent test automation experience
  • 2+ years software development SDLC experience
  • 2+ years software change management experience
  • 2+ years contributing to large scale technology platforms
  • 2+ years’ experience using postman to validate API
  • 2+ years .NET, C# developmen

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving application defects and performing root cause analysis with a focus on SQL Server data and integrations
  • Experience with building and maintaining enterprise-scale API and batch job processing
  • Change and Incident Management expertise utilizing ServiceNow
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with internal and external technology partners both on and offshore
  • Experience working on Legal technology solutions that support matter management, document management, or litigation

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support automated test engineering for legal and public affairs, as part of Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group.
The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Design, build, and maintain complex Legal technology solutions including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in upholding standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs supporting Legal Technology
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions and integrations for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with internal/external teams to implement and troubleshoot production support issues
  • Remediate security vulnerabilities and implement technology mandates in a timely matter to remain system compliant.
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
