Responsibilities:
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Engineering Manager to join us in Zurich and lead multiple product engineering teams working on software applications and services in the areas of Customer lifecycle, Banking platform, and Web3. This is a critical role in driving technical excellence, enhancing team performance and fostering the personal growth of the team members through servant leadership.
As a Senior Engineer Manager, you will balance your time between deep technical engagements and empowering your teams to deliver exceptional results. In this role, you will have line management responsibilities for 3 to 5 Tech Leads.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor tech leads and their teams, fostering a culture of high performance, quality and execution
- Set clear expectations and goals for tech leads and their teams, regularly providing constructive feedback
- Provide guidance on architecture decisions, code quality and software design that results in better quality, security, scalability and resilience
- Work with Tech Leads to define and drive the technical roadmap in alignment with Sygnum’s strategic objectives
- Partner with product and design leaders to develop and execute a cohesive product and technical strategy
- Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring that engineering efforts are aligned with user needs and company goals
- Promote a psychologically safe space where everyone feels they can contribute to improving things
