Our enterprise customers, including Microsoft, use Azure DevOps to collaboratively build apps and services and securely deploy them to production.
The Azure DevOps Platform team in Prague builds a suite of microservices to support the scaling and reliability needs of the platform, which runs some of the largest, most complex, and demanding DevOps workloads in the industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant experience managing teams of 6+ engineers
• Proven software development experience
• Demonstrated ability to partner across teams to deliver experiences that customers love
• Demonstrated ability of managing and developing junior and senior talent.
• Growth mindset to look at each challenge as an opportunity to learn, create clarity, generate energy and deliver success.
• Demonstrated ability to apply systems and approaches to ensuring high quality in products and services
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize customer and partner feedback into action

In this role you will lead the Azure DevOps Platform team based in Prague, a fast-paced team of talented engineers who thrive solving complex problems at-scale. You will have the following key responsibilities:

• Leading and mentoring a high-performing team of senior engineers.
• Promoting a growth mindset, encouraging continuous learning and development.
• Defining the strategic direction of the team to align with organizational goals.
• Building strong relationships with senior leaders to optimize performance and costs.
• Overseeing the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable microservices for enterprise customers.
• Ensuring adherence to best practices in software development and operational excellence.
• Managing incident response, live site investigations, and root cause analyses to improve service resiliency.
• Using customer and partner feedback to drive product and service improvements.
