LOCATION/DIVISION SPECIFIC INFORMATION

We are a research, development, and production site in Bremen currently, with about 500 employees, whose “high-end” measurement and analysis instruments (mass spectrometers) are used in research and science worldwide. Our innovative products in the fields of Life Sciences MS and Inorganic MS, as well as Trace Elemental Analysis, are among the leading products globally in their respective markets. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Scientist to join our dynamic Research & Development team in Bremen.

Responsibilities:

  • Conception and implementation of feasibility experiments to demonstrate the proof of principle of new development concepts
  • Ensure high experimental quality and deep theoretical penetration throughout all stages of product development, from research to serial production
  • Embrace and overcome complex or novel challenges by developing effective solutions and execution strategies highlighting your problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborate closely with your colleagues to create control software for hardware components
  • Playing an important role in the product development process, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation
  • Collaboratively apply principles, rules, and strategies related to intellectual property when drafting invention disclosures, patents, publications, and presentations, ensuring the protection of innovative ideas and technologies
  • Serve as a representative of the company by positive and productive interactions with external customers and collaborators
