About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Solicitor to join our growing Family Law Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with industry-recognised partners to provide the best consultative service for our clients. You will also have the opportunity to take an active role in coaching, sharing your knowledge, and developing our future solicitors.
Your role will also include attending client functions, networking in the industry, and presenting externally at events.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Independently handle Family Law matters from start to finish, including litigation where necessary
  • Negotiating Property Settlement and Care of Children matters
  • Developing existing and creating new client relationships
  • Meeting your KPI’s
  • Delegating to junior solicitors and support staff
  • Attending internal meetings and undertaking CPD

About you

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Have a minimum of five years’ experience practising predominantly in Family Law
  • Be admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the Family Law Act and the Family Law Rules
  • Have proven experience in conducting Family Law litigation matters and representing clients at Court and Mediations
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise across a broad range of Family Law matters
  • Be passionate about providing the best client service experience
  • Be committed to supporting and working collaboratively with team members
  • Possess excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Be driven, adaptable and efficient
