Your role
As a Senior Solution Architect in our organization, you will not only lead the development team and shape our technology landscape but also influence the strategic direction of our technology initiatives. Your role is critical in bridging the gap between complex technical challenges and business solutions, ensuring that our projects are both innovative and commercially viable.

Your responsibilities

• Technical leadership Be the technical lead for the software development team, guiding the creation and implementation of complex software solutions.
• Innovative solution development Develop high-impact solutions within Smart Connected Solutions, Platform Engineering, Research and Development, and Industry X.0, ensuring they align with market needs and company goals.
• Architecture design Translate complex functional, technical, and commercial requirements into detailed software architecture designs.
• Holistic solution design Design creative and holistic solutions to complex problems, facilitating their organizational implementation. Ensure solutions integrate smoothly into existing systems and processes.
• Quality assurance and testing Define and oversee the implementation of software tests and quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of software reliability and performance.
• Project collaboration Work collaboratively on sales and development projects, applying suitable methods to enhance the effectiveness and impact.
• Customer collaboration Maintain active engagement with customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly, fostering ongoing collaboration.

Are you the one?

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Mathematics or a similar field
• Advanced proficiency in Linux and C++, Python and/or other high-level languages as well as Make/CMake
• Experience with automatic software tests e.g. Gitlab CI/CD, Docker
• Good understanding of software dependencies (software libraries)
• Experience with multi-layered software rollout as well as software scaling
• Deep knowledge of different data storage methods and suitable software solutions
• Project experience with the integration of Industry X.0 solutions
• Experience as a technical architect in one or more of the following fields: IoT, Digital Twin, Integrated Hardware & Software Solutions, Industrial, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Platform Design & Operations
• Proficiency with agile software development methods
• Good command of English (at least C1)
• Ideally experience with AI frameworks
• Good German language skills are required (at least B2)
