Responsible for building the analytics and standards as well as promoting analytics as a decision making tool. Provides consistent meaningful data to decision-making and improve decision making.

EDUCATION

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Health Sciences, or a related discipline is required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Seven (7) years of related experience with Master’s, or nine (9) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.

1. Leads in defining the database planning, installation, and configuration across Healthcare Information Technology Affairs (HITA), addressing the most challenging technical problems.
2. Assists in defining the data warehouse / Business Intelligence Architecture in collaboration with the data warehouse and the Business Intelligence Department.
3. Assists as technical authority for the Hospital in troubleshooting database management issues, addressing the most challenging technical problems.
4. Provides advice on developing database management standards and takes the lead in promoting those standards across the Hospital.
5. Determines how clinical systems can support clinical operations and identify ways to enhance clinical operations through medical applications.
6. Contributes broadly across HITA on committees, standards bodies, and in efforts to address pressing technical challenges as they arise.
7. Acts as a mentor and role model in the Hospital.
8. Oversees enhancement projects and ensures that the solutions developed to meet the requirements of all business and functional units in scope.
