MAKE AN IMPACT BY

• We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate solution architect with experience in designing financial services applications on cloud infrastructure.
• To be responsible for designing, developing and implementing architectural solutions for Dash businesses in payments, remittance and financial services. The role will also be responsible for ensuring that defined architecture solutions meet resiliency, performance, security, and compliance requirements as per the organization and regulatory policies.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution architecture, application and cloud technologies, with excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills. The candidate will have experience with building and deploying with AWS and have operated or setup fully automated environments.
• Understand business functions and transform requirements into architecture and blueprint for the solutions being created
• Design and implement scalable and secure architectural solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards
• Construct a solution architecture around Microservices and APIs, and be able to decompose monolith applications into meaningful implementable Microservices and APIs in a Cloud/DevOps environment
• Oversee the development and integration of applications, ensuring they are aligned with architectural guidelines business objectives
• Design and manage cloud deployment solutions, ensuring resiliency, security and performance
• Maintain detailed architectural documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and best practices
• Work closely with stakeholders, including product owners, developers, DevOps engineers, product owners, senior executives, system integrators and product partners, to ensure alignment and effective communication
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and DevOps teams, promoting best practices in software development and cloud architecture

SKILLS FOR SUCCESS

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or its equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in the technology industry including 2+ in cloud, micro-services and/or application architecture
• Good to have: AWS certifications
• Possess strong background and experience as a successful software engineer/architect in building large scale, highly available internet and mobile applications.
• Have in depth knowledge of cloud computing, microservices architecture (incl. design pattern, rest/grpc, gateway & service mesh etc.), DevOps, Streaming architecture, Modern data architecture, Mobile and Web application architecture
• Good experience in API security including OAuth2/OIDC, API authorization, mTLS, etc.
• Good to have : Experience in designing payments, remittance, and FX related applications
• Significant experience working on mission critical internet facing applications focusing on scalability, performance, architecture aspects
• Passion for architecture and ability to pick up and learn new technological advances very quickly
• Good working experience in Java, Spring, Spring boot, any modern messaging technology, any RDBMS and/or NoSQL
• Practical knowledge in Agile and DevOps environments, open-source technologies, and related tools.
• Exhibits leadership in guiding team members, adapts to changes in technology and business domains, has good knowledge of latest trends in the market and is well respected within the team
• Solid understanding of Public Cloud (pref. AWS) architecture
• Ability to effectively communicate vision and roadmap to all stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences (including non-technical audiences)
