We are seeking for a hands-on Solution Architect, who will be part of the software and infrastructure team of Group Enterprise 5G/IOT product house, to design and implement the Singtel telco edge cloud and facilitate solution designs to onboard customer workloads . In this position you will work with the different development, business and product teams, to:

SKILLS FOR SUCCESS

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience architecting, designing, and developing complex, enterprise grade, configurable, scalable private cloud infrastructure .
• A background in systems level thinking and design. Combined with the ability to translate technical strategy and architectures into concrete, minimal viable products, with the right trade-offs and phasing.
• Exposure to software development would be an added advantage.
• Deep understanding of the architectural principles for cloud based platforms that include SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, infrastructure as code, and continuous availability.
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across various cross-functional teams and groups.

  Hypervisors
  VMWare ESXi, OpenStack, KVM, Nutanix (any 2)
  Switches and firewalls
  Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper or similar
  Servers
  Rack mount servers, HCI, Blade servers
  Networking
  BGP, OSPF, VXLAN and L2/L3 networking concepts
  Filesystems and storage
  NFS or similar
  Operating Systems
  Windows Server, Linux
  Containers and Orchestration
  Kubernetes (basic hands on knowledge)
  Best Practises
  Security by design principles, High Availability and fault resilience principles, Micro Segmentation.
  Public Cloud
  AWS, Azure (hands on experience)
  Infrastructure as a code
  Terraform, Ansible or similar
