As a Cloud Solution Engineer (CSE), you will join Flexera’s talented, multicultural pre-sales organization. You will partner with the Enterprise sales team with a focus on identifying business value and collaborating on revenue-generating strategies around Flexera’s Cloud Cost Optimization and Governance solutions.
The Product
Flexera One offers a unique approach to your organization’s FinOps journey that enables cloud governance teams to work collaboratively with business units and cloud resource owners to identify areas of potential savings (Inform), take action on these identified areas (Optimize), and implement processes to automate these optimizations (Operate). With Flexera One, you get a comprehensive set of cloud management capabilities designed to implement FinOps processes across your entire cloud environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Acting as a subject matter expert for Flexera’s Cloud Governance solutions including policies
• (Automation), Cloud Automation Templates, and Self Service
• Produce and deliver customer demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof of concept
• activities
• Build a solution architecture and assist the sales team to create a buying vision
• Provide insight from the field back to product management and engineering
• Coach customer and partner teams to ensure success and best practices
• Collaborate to build and onboard private cloud platforms

Qualifications

You will come from an IT background most likely working for a software vendor, partner or a software division of a large multinational company with experience providing consulting, installation, software engineering, and customer support. Your domain expertise will include some or all the following:

• 3+ years of cloud deployment and automation experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMWare)
• Background in object-oriented programming
• Background in server administration through scripting (PowerShell, shell/bash, etc.)
• Experience working/interacting with RESTful APIs
• Customer focus and insight; dedication to customer success
• Technical influencer – a trusted adviser to customers
• Extensive background in proof-of-concept development, delivery, customization, functional
• demonstration, and business presentations
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines or equivalent experience –
• ideal, but not required
• Ability to travel up to 20% (when travel resumes)
