Senior Solutions Architect

We’re seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Customer Solutions team in Melbourne, or Sydney Australia!
In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the entire customer journey from pre-sales, over onboarding new customers, all the way to helping existing customers get the most value out of our products, and enabling our growing number of delivery partners. You’ll collaborate closely with our Sales, Customer Success, Product, Partner Sales, Support, and Services teams. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first Senior Solutions Architect for Supermetrics in the growing JAPAC region.

• 5+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role
• A firm understanding the fundamentals of the entire data stack and quickly learn new data systems to support Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product and Expert Services teams
• Marketing domain knowledge is a very strong advantage
• Proactive self-starter with solid organizational skills
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to build trust with both technical and business or executive audiences
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with one tool from each category are expected:
• BI Tools: Looker Studio, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik or AWS Quicksight
• Cloud Data Warehouses: Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Amazon Redshift, Azure SQL DB
• Data Lakes: Google Cloud Storage, AWS S3, Azure Storage
• Data modeling: dbt, Dataform, Data Factory, Databricks, Tableau Prep, Cloud Data Fusion, AWS Glue
• General knowledge about permission management or experience with building data applications on GCP, Azure or AWS is an advantage
