Description:
Here at XPO Logistics, we’re
currently recruiting for a Warehouse Solution Design Manager to join our
growing team. As part of our continued expansion and development, we are
building a new team focussing on Warehouse Solution Design and are looking
for the next superstar in this arena. Working across all areas of the
business, this is an opportunity to join at the outset and be part of
creating and shaping a successful team.

What you’ll do on a typical
day:
- Be part of the team
shaping and designing the processes that will deliver future success
with warehouse opportunities
- Work alongside our
strategic development team to understand the needs and requirements
of new potential customers
- Design and develop
warehouse solutions for shared user and dedicated environments
including understanding
and proposing automated and mechanised solutions where appropriate.
You’ll be involved from understanding the data through to providing
fully costed solutions
- Get involved in
optimisation projects for our existing customers and propose new and
improved ways of works
- Use your initiative,
ideas and know how to make a real difference and impact
- Be a key part of the
team that wins and delivers new projects for XPO
What you need to succeed at
XPO:
- You’ll have experience
of working within solution design, however, we are prepared to
consider someone looking for the next step up
- You’ll enjoy working
autonomously, but as part of team
- Experience of data
analysis and identifying exciting and innovative solutions
- Experience of liaising
with customers, both face to face and remotely
- Previous experience of
AutoCAD, SketchUp or other similar software would be advantageous
- Knowledge of automation
and mechanisation would be beneficial but not essentia
