Your opportunity
The Senior Spatial Analyst will provide specialist advice and technical input in the fields of spatial, data and demographic analysis to all teams across the City Planning and Assessment Group. The advice and technical input will specifically be in relation to urban planning research, development tracking and modelling, statistical and demographic data analysis and built form assessment such as establishing a platform for potential 3D development application modelling.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW WHO:

Has significant experience in a similar role or a role requiring a similar skill set to undertake the accountabilities listed above, with preference given to experience that has been gained in the planning and development industry, including a significant understanding of planning and related statutory instruments relevant to data and modelling requirements.
Has demonstrated experience in scoping, establishing, designing, implementing, and maintaining a data hub of primary and secondary data and information with corresponding tools for analytic display and use. This includes having significant experience in the advanced use of GIS and geo-spatial coding for modelling as well as the output of analytics.
Has highly developed knowledge of project management practices and principles, including the development of key project documentation (e.g., project schedules, presentations, and reports).
