Description:
Qiddiya Investment Company is redefining the future of entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Specialist in Group Accounting (COR 306). In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information across the organization.
The Senior Specialist in Group Accounting will be responsible for overseeing the consolidation of financial statements, implementing accounting policies, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making at the group level.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on group or corporate accounting.
- Strong knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and general accounting principles.
- Experience in financial consolidation and reporting processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the consolidation process of financial statements for all group entities accurately and timely.
- Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the group.
- Review and analyze financial data from various subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process and address any audit queries.
- Participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing key financial insights.
- Monitor compliance with internal controls and identify areas for process improvement.
- Provide training and support to finance teams across the group on accounting practices and policies.
