This team is at the crossroads of operations and technology to optimize crowd sourced Last Mile delivery programs. To do this, the team manages data, works with product, operations, and other business teams for improvement, and drives changes and enhancements to system configurations and processes. The Lead Analyst, Shop & Deliver, is responsible for supporting execution against the Omni Channel Last Mile strategic plan for all regions in Canada. This role will be responsible for supporting a key area within On Demand Grocery Delivery, a rapidly growing area within Walmart which includes Spark Driver and Shopper Platforms as well as Instacart Connect. This role will support the development of Online Grocery Delivery programs by conducting operational planning, analyzing data, driving execution, and iterating scalable processes. This role will be responsible for maintaining Walmart’s Omni Channel and eCommerce competitiveness through a tactical framework that includes Last Mile Delivery systems, planning platforms, dashboards, reporting, and dispatching tools. The incumbent will work cross-functionally with Business teams in Canada and the United States.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors of Commerce or Business Administration, or MBA
Experience in eCommerce platforms and product development.
Experience in Compliance, Legal, or Safety related teams.

Responsibilities:
- Organize data-driven analysis and insights to help support business strategies by evaluating ongoing analytical needs;
- Serve as the analytics subject matter expert;
- Report data-based insights in a uniform manner;
- Build core reporting platform for general business operations including support of weekly business reviews and quarterly business reviews
- Monitor and report on business strategies;
- Analyze and ensure accuracy of information by creating, maintaining, and evaluating data.
- Develop and implement scorecards and other tracking mechanisms; responding to requests for recurring and ad hoc reports; compiling and analyzing data and reviewing solution outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and precision in pipeline and activity data. Manage dashboards and reports to facilitate teams’ understanding of business health and goal achievement levels.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on the application of best practices;
- Presenting data insights and recommendations to key stakeholders by consulting with internal organizations;
- Developing insights based on data analysis
- Identifying trends and key insights;
- Translating results into business actions and presenting insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Responsible for managing financial reporting including Weekly/ monthly/ quarterly transportation cost reporting and accrual calculation and monitoring
- Audit of carrier invoices (monitor effectiveness of 3rd party payer). Manage 3rd party payer – maintaining relationship and accountability
