As a Senior Specialist, Total Rewards & HRIS, you will be joining a team committed to the principles of equity and fairness who will deliver Total Rewards HRIS services for a diverse workforce. Reporting to the Manager Total Rewards & HRIS, you will work with a variety of departments to shape and maintain the Total Rewards Program. By joining our team, you will lead the daily administration, research, analysis, planning and delivery of Total Rewards programs including compensation, benefits, pension, HRIS, reporting and metrics. You will also support the planning, testing, implementation and maintenance of Meditech system as well as other internal HR systems. This position also participates in quality improvement initiatives, supports the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment and advances a culture of client/patient safety through work and daily practices.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant professional discipline (i.e. Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance) with considerable expertise in Total Rewards or an equivalent combination of educational and work experience.
- CHRP/CHRL, CCP designations are assets.
- Working knowledge of project management disciplines, including experience scoping and sizing work efforts
- Experience developing statistical and analytical reports
SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, and HR technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of HR technologies and database applications (e.g. Access and Excel)
- Strong knowledge of statistics (e.g. descriptive, correlations, significance testing) and ability to apply statistical methodologies
- Strong consulting and collaborative skills
- Business acumen with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and presentation skills
- Well-developed time management skills
