We are currently recruiting for a Senior Specialist Underwriter - focussing on Renewable Energy, Power & Engineering to join our established and experienced Specialty Lines team here at RSA on a hybrid basis in London.
Your Role
Your role as a Senior Renewable Energy Underwriter will involve working with selected brokers to optimise profitable growth from these accounts.
You will apply a range of underwriting, relationship management and business development techniques. This applies to new or existing business within our agreed process and defined underwriting guidelines.
You will spend most of your time working with your broker panel identifying, discussing, negotiating new or renewing existing business opportunities and making effective underwriting decisions
About You
To be successful in your role, you will require experience within Renewable Energy Insurance from either an insurance company or broking background. You will be working on a wide range of UK and International business so the ability to build and maintain relationships is key to this role.
You will have the skills and knowledge to write profitable New Business and handle existing renewals to ensure retention is maximised and a profitable account is maintained.
