JOB OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for a Senior Speciality Recruiter to own the full recruitment cycle to meet the staffing needs of Lendesk. This role includes sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for internal roles across various departments. The successful candidate will work closely with department leaders, HR, and Operations to understand hiring requirements, ensure a smooth candidate experience, and maintain a strong talent pipeline. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- 5 years proven experience as a recruiter (internal or agency) with a focus on talent acquisition and sourcing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in hiring across various levels and departments.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, techniques, and trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage several recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset.

This role has a salary range of $63,500-$103,000 CAD which accounts for the skills you’ll bring to the team, the impact you’ll have on the business, and the growth you’ll experience in the role. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for open internal positions.
- Use various sourcing methods (internal databases, job boards, social media, networking) to identify and reach potential candidates. Leverage internal talent pools and referrals.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, and ensure the interview process runs smoothly. Evaluate candidates based on skill set, experience, and cultural fit.
- Conduct employment reference checks for successful candidates.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by communicating regularly, providing feedback, and guiding candidates through each stage.
- Proactively collaborate across internal teams to understand hiring needs, develop and improve sourcing strategies and obtain feedback.
- Assist in creating job descriptions, posting open positions, and advise on interviewing best practices.
- Collaborate with HR and Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires and ensure proper handoff to relevant teams for onboarding.
- Ensure all recruitment practices comply with legal regulations, SOC 2 requirements, and company policies.
- Continuously improve our hiring, recruiting, and onboarding processes to ensure they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
- Facilitate the seamless onboarding of new hires by accurately adding them into our HRIS system (Workday) and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
