To meet business growth needs, we are hiring a Senior Specification Engineer to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Promote Schréder products to Architects, Design Offices, Landscapers, Lighting Designers and Private Key Accounts.
  • Find/create new opportunities through an active approach regarding potential customers.
  • Responsible for large projects. Expert
  • Development of the customer portfolio. Follow-up of minimum 100 customers.
  • Visits potential customers (listen, analyse, advise, …)
  • Determine customer needs
  • Carry out the lighting project (products, photometry, …) with, if necessary, the lighting application team
  • Ensure costing
  • Customers and offers follow-up
  • Collect & forward information regarding products, competition, customers to the sales teams
  • Collect & forward information regarding new projects to the sales teams.
  • Management of more complex custom projects (interface de conseil pour des developments de nouveaux customs – relations avec équipe custom Victor)
  • Ability to manage the most complex projects (tunnel, illumination, …)
  • Ability to prepare a technical / sales file (photometry study, proposal, technical sheet, …)
  • Ability to ensure that the “Schréder” criteria (general & technical specificities, design, efficiency, …) are included in client’s specifications.
  • Train & coach peers

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Bachelor or above Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Geographer, Sales, Business, …
Experience:
At least 5 – 10 years of relevant experience
Knowledge & Skills:
Languages : English (B2) + local language
Sales approach & customer oriented
Results driven
Interest in technical products
Excellent negotiation & communication skills (written, oral)
Excellent knowledge of the market (paysagiste, architecte, bureau d’études), competition & lighting industry
Excellent optics knowledge
Flexible
